November 13, 20, December 4, January 22 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Parish Center Learn what the Sacrament of Confirmation really means and how it will strengthen your faith. Come with your questions.

November 13, 20, January 29 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center Appreciate the Paschal Mystery and the immeasurable love that God has for us through the life and times of Jesus. Through slides, the Rosary, and Scripture passages, discussion will center around the power of story and how Jesus took human form for a divine mission. His lessons in love and relationship are critical for a faithful devotion that is at the heart of happiness and a purpose-filled life.

October 2, January 22, February 26 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center God really likes bread. This simple food is mentioned almost 500 times in the Bible, from the first chapters of Genesis all the way up to the last book, Revelation. But why is bread so important? This workshop will look at the biblical story of Holy Communion -- and how from the very beginning of time God was preparing a way to be truly present to you at all times.

December 4, January 22, 29 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center Part 2 of Catholic Architecture - Don't blame the Second Vatican Council for the "ugly" modern churches. You may participate in this workshop even if you attended or did not attend Part 1 last year.

January 22, February 26 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center In the words of Saint John Paul II, "Sport trains body and spirit for perseverance, effort, courage, balance, sacrifice, honesty, friendship and collaboration.” There are also many ways athletes can help serve our Faith Community. This session will have an interactive exploration into the symbiotic relationship between sports and our Faith.

December 4, February 12*, 26 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center (12/4 and 2/26) *4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Parish Center (2/12 - Super Bowl Sunday. Game begins at 6:30 pm) Discussion on the inspiring story of beloved high school teacher, coach, and deacon, Frank Bice after a college football injury left him quadriplegic. His "yes" to Jesus led him to become an inspiration to all who knew him. Required short story reading prior to workshop in order to participate in discussion. (Reading will be sent as pdf file via email.) Discussion will be supplemented with brief film clips during the workshop. Note: This workshop was presented last year.

October 2, November 20, January 29 Discover the origins and history of the Rosary. Stories of miracles and graces received from devotion of reciting the mysteries. Learn how easy it is to pray and blend the Rosary into your day.

October 2, January 29 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center Could God be talking to us through simple songs we listen to every day? Are there messages in the music we love that God wants us to hear? Let's find God together in the lyrics on our playlists. Join us as we meditate with music!

September 18, October 2, February 5, 26 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center A teenager along with his older brother and 10 others, with blind faith, chose Jesus. They left behind their homes and their jobs, uprooting their families to follow an out of work 33-year-old handyman, who for most of them leads to their martyrdoms. Isn't it time that you got to know who these 12 men were? In this workshop you will learn about their connections between each other, their impact on the early church, the New Testament, and our church today. Note: This workshop was presented last year.

November 13, December 4, January 29 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center We'll start with a scavenger hunt for items that can remind us to pray and then discuss different ways, when and why to pray. You will receive a packet that you will hopefully find as a useful resource while you embark on your personal relationship with God. Note: This workshop was presented last year.

October 2, December 4, February 5 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center Join us in exploring God and Catholic themes in modern media. Participants will watch movie clips and create their own mini comic book.

September 18, November 20, January 22 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Church Going to mass is a weekly requirement for Catholics. Some of us started going as children, and perhaps it has become so routine that we forget what is happening and why. If a non-Catholic friend went to mass with you and asked you questions about what something means or why we do what we do, could you answer them? This workshop will equip you with some answers and hopefully will help you feel more engaged next Sunday!

November 13, 20, December 4 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center What does the Bible say about money? How should Catholics follow the example of Jesus to balance their personal finances and security with their obligations to the Church and society? We will address these questions and discuss the basics of saving, budgeting and investing for the long term. Bring a calculator. Note: This workshop was presented last year.

September 18 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Parish Center Have you ever wondered about the things that happened in Jesus’ life that are not recorded in the Bible? Take a sneak peek at one person’s interpretation of what took place beyond the Bible stories. You’ll watch an episode of The Chosen TV series, reflect on what was presented and compare that to what is written in the Bible. NOTE: This workshop was presented last year.

February 12, March 5 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the Parish Center View and discuss another episode of the Chosen. You may participate in this workshop even if you attended or did not attend Part 1 last year or this year. (Note: February 12 is Super Bowl. Game starts at 6:30 pm.)

September 18, 24, 25. Rain date(s): October 8, 9 3:00 to 4:30 pm on Sept. 18, 25 11:00 am to 12:30 on Sept. 24 Using the power of observation, students will find God in nature. Together we will walk a woodsy trail, pausing to take photos of God all around us. After the walk, we will create a meditative movie using the students' images accompanied by thoughtful quotes and music.

November 13, 20, February 5 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Church Hall We will explore the Bread of Life in the Bible and why this food was so important to the Israelite many years ago and is so important to us now.

November 13, February 12*, 26 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Church (Nov. 13, Feb. 26), 4:00 to 5:30 pm (Feb. 12) in the Church If the song is to continue, we must do the singing! Discuss the importance of music in our lives. Plan the music for a Family Liturgy and learn a little about Liturgical Music (all styles!) and a few interesting facts about the history of music in the church. Check out the pipe organ and digital piano in the choir loft, and the piano in the front. If you play the keyboard come and try out one or all of the instruments! (* Note: February 12 is Super Bowl. Game starts at 6:30 pm.)
